SystemJ language technology and accompanied development tools have been created from the research carried at the Embedded Systems Research group at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Auckland. The first language implementation was using a run-time TrEK library (F. Gruian, P. Roop, Z. Salcic, I. Radojevic, SystemJ Approach to system-level Design, Proceedings of Methods and Models for Co-Design Conference, Memocode 2006, pp. 149-58), while the new compilation technology which is offered in our tools was developed between 2006 and 2009 (A. Malik, Z. Salcic, P. S. Roop and A. Girault. Commercialization of the SystemJ technology is transferred to the Auckland Uniservices Limited, a company that normally does it for all technologies and intellectual property created at the University of Auckland.
